Sharp's "Gymnastics" Academy


Our main focus is on gymnastics and gymnastics related skills.  We are not a health club, we are not a rock climbing gym, or a daycare facility, and we don't teach American History.  Our staff includes some of the top gymnastics coaches in the USA and they are committed to directing all their expertise and energy into providing the best gymnastics training in the state, not a "little bit" of a lot of other things.  "Just QUALITY gymnastics training"

  • We have a video delay system that allows athletes to see each routine seconds after they finish, providing immediate feedback.   This is very cool stuff!
  • We have the AAI & Tumbl Trak vault tables & trainers, and of course you can vault into the foam pit.
  • Two vault runways:  one into the pit, one for level 4 and uphill vaulting.
  • 40 ft. "vault tumble trampoline" with attached vault trainer.
  • AAI Elite bars over "resi" pit, Midwest bars, GymNova bars, Single bars, Strap Bars...
  • Easy adjustable (3 ft. to 8 ft. high) training bar over loose foam pit.
  • Permanent tumble trampoline bar trainer in the team bar area.
  • Great beam area with AAI spring beams, low beams, uphill and foam pit dismount beams...
  • 42' x 42' - 4" (Team) spring floor with tumbling into separate solid & loose foam pits.
  • Competition acrylic rod tumbling floor into loose foam pit. (great training aid)
  • Team "training room" & separate "team bathroom" for uninterrupted workouts.

Our facility is a great place to train.  Since opening in 2001 & moving to our new location in 2011 we have played host to numerous State and Regional Training Camps and Clinics.

  • Region V Super Camp  (Over 135 of the Region's Top Gymnasts)
    • Several coaches commented on the positive flow of our facility with regards to the arrangement of equipment at each event.  Having a good flow of traffic is very important for a safe productive training environment.  Come by and see for yourself.
  • Region V Hot Shot Camp  (147 of the top "12 and under" gymnasts in the Region)
